Whales Abyssal is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect and use information when you play our game.

1. Information We Collect

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. This includes:

• Google Analytics for Firebase: To understand game engagement and progression.
• Firebase Crashlytics: To monitor app stability and fix bugs.
• AdMob: To show advertisements (Interstitials and Rewarded Video).
• Cloud Firestore: To save your game progress (Levels, Krill count, and Engagement scores).

2. Log Data

In case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, and the time and date of your use of the Service.

3. Ad Serving Technology

This game uses Google AdMob. Google may use advertising IDs from the device to serve ads based on the user's interests. You can opt-out of interest-based ads in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

4. Data Retention

Game progress stored in Cloud Firestore is linked to an anonymous Firebase Auth ID. This data is kept to allow you to resume your progress across sessions.

5. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

Data Deletion Request

Since Whales Abyssal uses anonymous accounts to protect your privacy, no personally identifiable information (such as your email address or name) is stored or linked to your gameplay.

How to delete your data:

• In-App: You can delete all local data by clearing the app's cache and storage in your Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.
• Manually: If you wish for us to manually delete your anonymous ID and associated progress from our Firebase database (Firestore), please contact us at davidanderberg24@gmail.com. Please include your unique anonymous User ID (which can be found in the game's settings menu).

What data is deleted? Upon a deletion request, we permanently remove all game progress, including your krill count, upgrade levels, and engagement scores associated with your ID. No data is retained after deletion, with the exception of anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to any individual user.
